ON5 UK’s French parent joins the UN Global Compact

ON5 UK’s French parent Economie d’Energie officially joins the Global Compact of the United Nations, the largest international voluntary engagement initiative for sustainable development.

The United Nations Global Compact brings together nearly 13,000 companies, organizations, UN agencies, labour and civil societies around ten universally recognized principles of human rights, international labour standards, enforcement of law, environment and the fight against corruption.

Through its membership, Economie d’Energie is committed to integrating the 10 principles into its strategy, its organizational culture and its operations. Through the Communication on Progress and Communication on Commitment, the Economie d’Energie has promised to update its stakeholders annually with the progress on its sustainable development.

Economie d’Energie has also joined the Global Compact France, for support in making this commitment a reality and in order to achieve the set objectives of the agreement.

More broadly, Economie d’Energie is committed to supporting the objectives of the United Nations and to promoting the values of the Global Compact within its sphere of influence, including its international subsidiaries.
